Exercise

If you want to lose weight and be more fit, but don’t want to go to a gym or have time to go to a gym, then some functional exercise in your own house may give you exactly what you need.

It makes you feel great and look great without spending all day in a gym. We do all this in 15-20 minutes a day, and that’s really only 3 days a week. This is my attempt to bring my workouts, fitness, and eating habits to patients and those who want to be healthier and look better without trendy diets or insanely long workouts.

I did this for patients a few years ago and I wrote workouts for a year and a half.  Every workout was different so they never got old.

If this sounds intriguing, then you can help me determine whether it is viable to do it again, because there is a considerable amount of work involved. Which is totally cool, because I love to help people reach their health goals, but I want to know if that is something that interests you.

“I have been seeing Doc Altman for about 4 years now and have come a long way with changing to a healthy diet and losing some weight along the way. I started to get discourage because I could not seem to lose anymore weight and then Doc Altman mentioned he was going to start the functional exercise program. I was very interested in the program and signed up within a month or so of the start. I was a little skeptical at first but decided I had nothing to lose. I was not the picture of a star student, I only did the exercises 2 or 3 times a week but after a month or so I had lost a couple of lbs. This seemed pretty good so I began to get serious about the program and do 6 or 7 days a week. After 5 months I have lost 20 lbs and have a 3 inch smaller waist. I feel great and have a lot more strength and endurance.

The best part of the program (besides losing weight) is I have not gotten bored with the same old routine day after day. Doc Altman mixes up the routine so you are always doing something different every 4-5 days. I work with some college interns that are less than half my age and they can’t do most of the things I can do now.

Thanks Doc Altman for starting the program and encouraging me along the way. I can’t wait to see where I’m at in another 5 months.”
