People are in pain for a lot of reasons, sometimes it is physical, sometimes it’s emotional, and sometimes it is nutritional. But those aren’t the three I’m talking about.
Those are some heavy hitters, but they are way too obvious. What fun is that. These are a culmination of story after story from random strangers I met at the safe kids fair this past weekend.
For two days I talked to dozens and dozens of people about one thing, PAIN. We talked about every kind of pain imaginable and everyone except a few people had neck pain or low back pain.
That’s really no surprise, a lot people not going to a chiropractor regularly have either one of those.
So here are my most surprising top 3 reasons for pain from the show this weekend.
#1 OLD car accidents. It was insane how many people were in car accidents 4,5 or even 10 years ago and never got any help. Here is a simple rule to follow, after any car accident please go see a chiropractor. It is pretty rare for a medical doctor to recommend someone to see a chiropractor so you’ll have to remember that one yourself.
The longer you wait to get help after a car accident, the more chronic the injuries become. Also, the longer you wait, the more it will cost you. If you wait too long, instead of having an insurance company pay for your injuries, you will have to pay for it yourself.
So the lesson here is Car accident = chiropractic visit. You are more than welcome to call me if you have questions 801-512-7394.
#2 More than 80% of the people I talked to have never seen a chiropractor. This was an astounding statistic to me. Chiropractic is a safe, natural alternative treatment to many health problems. How do we know it is so safe?
There are a few ways, but one big one is how much our malpractice costs. Based on insurance statistics, danger in seeing a chiropractor is a mere fraction of the risks in seeing a traditional medical doctor.
Considering all the pain people were walking around with, I have a lot more community out reach to do.
#3 Bad Husbands. I know that seems harsh, but I don’t have any easy way to put it. Maybe you know of a nicer way to talk about letting your spouse suffer. It was a very bizarre trend. Strange enough for me to write about.
I know I’m not just imaging this because there were two of us there and we both noticed the same thing. The wife came in and wanted to get help and she’d talk to her husband and he’d shake his head and they’d walk off.
This is not an isolated incident. I really would like to write a lot more about this subject because “strongly encouraging your wife to suffer needlessly” just isn’t right. If you want more, just send me an email.
So, in a wrap up, call if you get in an accident or are tired of suffering from one. If you have a health problem you are tired of, don’t wait until you see me in person to schedule a visit. Lastly, just sneak into the office if you have to. We have underground tunnels from Astroburger.
