Email Privacy
1. Download GpG4win (For more info on email project check GnuPG)

Do read some of the info online, but this outline may help you simplify the process.
2. Check integrity of file here For the Checksum’s

3. For windows and not tech people download and unzip

Pick cfw32
4. Choose Sha1
OPEN the downloaded file in step 1. (should be an .exe file)
5. Calculate, then compare the numbers in step 2
6. Install download from Step 1. (follow prompts)
7. Read documentation on hard drive (novice manual)
- Start GPA program
- Generate Key
- Fake name
- Fake Email
- Create backup
- Really good passphrase
- If you want. Save backup to USB stick for safe keeping. This could be risky if you lose USB.
- If GPA closes -re-open it if you need the key ID. Most likely you won’t.
7. Download FireGPG for Firefox
http://getfiregpg.org/s/install
8. Restart Firefox
9. FireGPG Assistant should start-up , Next
Use the uncommon path
- Set path to GPG2.exe
- (example c:/programfiles/GNU/GnuPG/GPG2.exe)
- Use default settings and keep hitting NEXT
10. Try sending your self an encrypted email.
- Type a test sentence, highlight all the text
- In Firefox, go to Tools, Select FireGPG, Encrypt
- Just Select Your Public Key
- Decryption-either Firefox will recognize and ask for a password, or highlight text as before.
