I’m always shocked walking through store aisles at how many people buy acid blockers or take lots of purple pills.  The shelves are always 1/2 empty.  There must be a lot of bad stomachs out there.

—————————————————————–
People who are on medication to lower their stomach acidity will tend to
develop overgrowths of bacteria that thrive in a less- acidic environment,

making them more susceptible to cancer. (Gastroenterology, January

2002 and the American Journal of Physiology, January 2002)
——————————————————————————————-

Acid-suppressing drugs may raise pneumonia risk, 89% with drugs like
Nexium and Prevacid and 63% higher risk with Pepcid and Zantac.
(Journal of the American Medical Association, October 2004)

Ok, so you are aware that none of the drugs will solve your problem.  This of course provides the perfect scenario for the drug companies and the drug dispensers (pushers). Since the cause is not fixed – the symptoms are always recurring and you will always need their drugs.

FACT:  At LEAST 90% of those suffering from “reflux, acid- indigestion, or GERD” are actually suffering from too LITTLE STOMACH ACID.

I realize that T.V. commercials and your doctor have told you time and again that you have too much stomach acid. You probably say ” I know doc, it just burns like acid in my throat.”  It feels like acid.  Technically, you are right and wrong at the same time.

Here is how your stomach works.   When you eat food your stomach starts making acid right away to digest the food.  It has all your life.  You were born to make acid, it is part of NORMAL digestion.  If your acid levels are too low, that food will just sit in your stomach and ROT.

Just like a squished squirrel on the side of the road in the hot sun!

The rotting food will make its own acids and give you the feeling of acid indigestion.

YOUR BODY IS NATURALLY INTELLIGENT

It wants to get rid of bad things, so it starts coming back up.

So what happens when you take an antacid? (any one of them).  You trick your body in  away, like putting a piece of duct tape over your oil light in your car, so you don’t know your car is having trouble.  Your symptoms will stop but your problem will get worse.  I will go over how problems get worse a little later.

All those antacids make less and less stomach acid so it is easier and easier for undigested food to be forced through your body.

NO   Acid,   No   Digestion!

You are trying to run your body on less and less.  You eat food for energy to run your body.  If you can’t digest it, guess what you don’t get?   THAT’S RIGHT-MOST of your food.  Why do you think SOOOO many people who take acid-stopping drugs are so tired?

I’m going to let you in on a little secret.  You will NOT hear this from any other DOCTOR, because as far as I know, I discovered it.  The #1 thing that exists with over 90% of ALL chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia patients that I have ever seen is a past history of using acid-stopping drugs.

Here is something T.V. Commercials also don’t tell you.

The acid-stopping medications like Prilosec, Prevacid, and Nexium (and whatever new version they are cooking up) stop your stomach cells from producing acid.  They also stop your body from absorbing Vitamin B12.

Vitamin B12:

Without it you can slow down healing, become anemic, mess up your nerves, and have problems with protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism.  And to top it off… Low levels of Vitamin B12 can increase heart and vessel disease.  Not a pretty picture!  No wonder they don’t want you to know about it.

The 4 Biggest Blunders Of Acid-Stopping Pills, I’ll save for next time.
