Take a quick peek in the mirror.  Who do you listen to?  Maybe some teachers, doctors, lawyers, maybe you call all the shots.

Now who do you listen to about your health?

I listen to me.  I take advice from people like Dr. Bruce West, Dr. Joseph Mercola, Dr. Royal Lee, Dr Weston Price, and a few other very intelligent people.  But, I make the decisions.  I like it that way.

The New York Times had a very interesting article published December 3rd 2009 about this very issue.  Many of you know there are some new mammogram findings that have been causing a ruckus in the medical world.

Someone actually did an independant study of the effects of mammograms and found there to be of little to no benefit for 40 year old women to get them and recommended the age to be raised to 50 years old.  Since that little finding steps in the toes of 10 years of mammogram screening income, it has been met with considerable resistance.

Senate Blocks Use of New Mammogram Guidelines

The government is slowly taking control of your health.  I find it interesting that Senators, with no medical knowledge, now have the ability to force insurers to pay for services that are most likely not needed.   Those choices should be left to the patients and doctors.

All the more reason to take such great care of yourself that you won’t need any medical services.
